OOTD Work Attire

I had my visa interview the other day. A bit out of my league since I usually have a more laid back style, but this is what I came up with.

I went classic and then added a pop of colour with theΒ Primark heels. Love their colour!

I wore a white tank top which has some nice details so it’s not too boring. You can see it on the picture down. Actually, let me tell you a secret – it’s a top from a pyjamas! Shhhh! πŸ˜‰

On top of it, I wore a white Bershka blazer.

The black, slouchy pants (from Orsay)Β also have a nice detail –Β the leather around the waist. They are very comfortable and not too loose so you can still have that ladylike silhouette.

I finished it off with a Primark rope necklace which gives off a nautical feel.

I think I managed to be professional looking, but still kept the laid back feel to it. What do you think?

Feel free to comment and if you wold like to see my take on something, please let me know!

Enjoy your day guys! :*

OOTD and My New HairDo

Hi everyone!
I know I’ve been away for a while but for a good reason. I’ll explain everything after Wednesday.

In the meantime, I thought I’d do a quick post on what I wore today and my new hair. πŸ™‚

I just got these pants from New Yorker and I love them! They are perfect fot the summer, so light! And the pattern! I will definitely buy more, but in colour. I paired it with a lacey white H&M T-shirt. Since it is all black and white and I need colours in my life, I just added simple yellow flat shoes, small yellow earrings and a green bag. Work appropriate!

Now. My new hair! πŸ™‚ Actually, it isn’t so new anyomore since I’ve had it for 2-3 weeks now. This is the second time I have it and I feel so good everytime I do! πŸ™‚
These are box braides. I did them myself. Lots of work let me tell you, but it’s worth it! My hair is very thin and has absolutely no volume (grrr) so no wonder I like these braides because my hair looks thicker and if I want the wow effect I simply put it in the bun!
I got lots of compliments for it and I hope you like it too!

Have a nice day everyone!
See you after Wednesday! πŸ™‚

Hello everyone!

This week really passed fast, didn’t it? I don’t know where it goes so fast, but sometimes it’s a bit scary.

Here’s a little post about the outfits I wore to work this week.Β

Weather was really weird, but no rain so that’s good. I was feeling a bit girly so Tuesday and Wednesday I even wore heels. I love these brown boots! The heel is thick and stable and they are soooo comfty! I love wearing them!

The pink Wednesday skirt and Tuesday dress (you can see original post here) are both thrifted, and Friday is more casual.

As you can see, there are always colours! Just gotta have them! XD

Tuesday and Wednesday outfits are my favourites. I can’t really decide between the two.

What do you think?

WOWO Ramble

So this is going to be a WOWO (Week Of Work Outfits) post and little ramble. πŸ™‚

I finally got a new mobile! Yaaay! So happy about that! I used to have iPhone 3G but it really started acting up so I had to get a new one. And it arrived last Sunday from Germany! Google Nexus 5! So far I love it! Since I also have their tablet, I got used to it pretty quickly (and oh, the two devices synch up! How great is that?! ^^). I love the fact that I can go on line quickly and it won’t throw me out, that the camera is good, that I can read books and immediately look a word up in a dictionary and that I can finally have Viber, WhatsApp and all of the others apps without the mobile telling me I don’t have the required ios. -.-‘ I am really not a techy person, but all in all a new mobile is great! ^^

Inspired by that and the camera, I took pics of what I wore to work this week. I am still trying to find what works best for me and I like different looks. So one day I might dress up totally hip hop, sporty and the other day you could see me in a dress. I thought it would be a good idea to take photos of what I wear so I can see if I maybe jump from one style to the next too quickly and to see how my style develops (if it does at all :S haha).

I really like colours! That I can tell you. I usually like to wear something ”plain” and then add a pop of colour; as you will see with the blazers. I am really collecting them and today I realized I don’t have a red one! And I really wanted to wear a red one! 😦 (first world problems… sounds so stupid :S) So I had to settle with a green blazer and a red coat. Think it looked pretty good.

And let me just tell you! Kids in school are better critics that anyone else! Because they will tell you the truth! Other teachers will relate. As soon as you walk into the classroom they see every little detail on you. It doesn’t matter if it is something big like a new bag or if it’s a hairband. They will see it. And tell you.
Last week I dressed all in black and I had this turquoise-leopard cardigan over. I was hot so I took it off. I continued talking and this little one just interrupted me and said ”Teacher, you overdid it with the black.”. Hahaha, little critics. I love them! πŸ™‚

Anyway, these are the pics of what I wore to work this week.

Happy Friday everyone! I couldn’t wait for it to come!

Hope you’ll have a nice evening whether you decide to stay home in your PJs or go out!

Bye bye! =)

P.S.Β I’m curious, do you have some kind of dress code at your work place?
