DIY Bookmark

Hi everyone! Happy new year! Hope you all had a great time and spent it with your loved ones.
Anyone made some resolutions? I never do, but one of my goals is to read more.
I started reading Dan Brown’s “Angels and Demons”. So far, it is realy good. I like his books.
I found this tutorial for an easy DIY bookmark. There are so many cute ones, but I have limited supplies so I made due with what I have.
Here is the tutorial.

There are many things you can do. I don’t have any pretty paper, so I used magazine and washi tape to decorate it.
Here’s how it turned out.

Hope you like it! If you make one, let me know!
Be well!

Denim scrap necklace

Continuing with my love of working with denim scraps since I have a lot of that now after the wall organizer.

An easy and short project.

Just make a template of a circle (mine was 4 cm in width) and cut out circles out of the denim. Once you’ve got them, fold them in half twice and glue with hot glue gun. You’ll have lots of petals now. Glue them to a circle felt so you get a flower and then glue the flowers onto the final piece of felt which is in the shape you wish the necklace to be. And finally, sew/glue a chain/a piece of satin ribbon so you can tie it.

And voila, you have a beautiful necklace!

You can also make it a broche, a hair clip or something else. Whatever you want!

Hope the instructions were clear. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate! 🙂

Paper Roll Art

This is really easy and a real fun project! It takes no time at all and the best thing – this is something everyone has got in the house! Paper rolls!

I simply flattened it, cut it 2 cm in width and glued it with a hot glue gun. You can use regular glue, but I think this is simpler and faster and probably holds better. I only have to buy some can spray and colour it.

It took me only 20-30 minutes and in the end you have an original work of art for your room.

I just have to figure out where to put it now. 🙂
