End of 2016 marks one year of me keeping track of my outfits. Boy, has it gone by so fast! Honestly, the older you get, faster the time passes you by! Don’t you think so?
I will do a post on what I’ve learned next year.;)
For now, this is what I wore.
I also wore a winter jacker and a winter coat.
I will be going home in January so I will be cleaning my closet a bit. I already did it once. Those things are packed in a box on a side and to tell you the truth, I don’t even remember what’s in it anymore! Which means I don’t miss the clothes. Out of sight, out of mind!
And of course, with new year comes new resolutions. I will have to think about what I want to achieve next year with my wardrobe.
What I can tell you at the moment is that I do recommend this!
I was on vacation to Cuba (yaaaay!) and straight after – work. Didn’t even have time to unpack and do my laundry so I fell a bit behind.
Now that I finally have days off, this is what I wore in October. I’ll show you pre and post Cuba.
My regular month.
As you can see nothing much changed. I’m still sticking to the basics with a plain black T-shirts and a pair of jeans.
Now, this is what I wore to Cuba.
I also stuck to the basics with blacks and whites, but I tried bringing something interesting in with the lace and ruffles and the rivets. This is what I usually do. I get something simple, but I try to find something interesting on it like texture, cut or some detail I think is special. Do you do the same?
The dress I had in my closet for a while, but never got a chance to wear it. This was a perfect time for a photo shoot with beautiful Cuban 50’S cars! It reminds me of that era. Itis simple yet beautiful!
And the skirt! It is H&M and I fell in love with it from the first time I saw it so when it came on sale – it was mine!
I paired it with off the shoulder ruffle white top and it looks very girly and delicate. I definitely feel special when I wear it.
How is your closet minimalism going?
And this is a good time to ask – how do you pack for holidays?
Do you go minimal and do you pack for every occasion? Because no matter how minimal I pack it seems to me I never wear all of what I bring! Do you have the same problem?
I definitely wore more clothes in August because I went on holidays… to Lisbon! Soo beautiful, but back to the topic at hand.
This is what I wore.
I’m glad I’m wearing more dresses. My goal is to get rid of majority of them and now I see slowly which ones.
The romper – if you’re following me you can recognize it from before here and here.
And I have a new pair of favourite jeans – high waisted ones! Finally! I hate when I am trying on jeans which are supposed to be high waisted and they are below the belly button! No! I’m sorry, but that is not high waisted! They have to be over the belly button! (Ok, mini rant over hh)
These are H&M. Only thing I don’t like is they don’t have front pockets. Only back, but can’t have it all I guess. Happy with them though! 🙂 I need to get one pair in black.
I did have some OOTDs I really liked. My goal for the next month is to take pictures of them for you guys and post them of course. 🙂
This blazer (Bershka) is the only thing I own in a pastel colour and I must say I didn’t think I would like it so much! But I do! And I was very excited to style it as I remembered this necklace I’ve made which I think goes perfect with it.
I choose a simple white tee and grey jeans (Primark). I do have pink heels, but I wanted to break the pink and I wore dark purple chunky heels (New Look).
