Queen B’s Lemonade

I literally just saw this and had to write.

Now, I am not obsessed with pop culture and ”celebrities”, but I do know the basics of what’s going on.

Why I put celebrities under quotes? Because I do admire them. It takes a special kind of bravery to do what they do, but on the other hand I wouldn’t wait for hours for them for a picture or just to see them. They do deserve they privacy!

Anyways, I just saw what the trailer for Beyonce’s Lemonade and I am looking forward to seeing it.

First of all, it is the Queen B! This woman has my highest respect. I believe she is a hard worker and a real power to be recognized.
In the combo with Jay Z – WOW! Talking about the real power couple!

But, we all know the rumors about him cheating and boy, did she ever address it and in the only way she knows how – in style!

She bluntly comes out and says it – yes, he cheated!

She is not the first nor the last to be cheated on, for sure!

But the reason it appeals to me is that she is so honest about it!

Here is the link to the trailer.

I can’t talk too much about it because I didn’t see everything, but from all the recaps I did see, I HAVE TO find it!

Cay you guys help me?! I can’t seem to find it anywhere! πŸ˜₯

Seems to me she truthfully showed all the stages of grief and acceptance and made herself more relatable to everyone.
I am sure this will help a lot of people through their hard times.

And in true Hollywood style, she gives us a happy ending.
But, let’s be honest! What would you do? After being together for so long, you can’t just throw it all away, but you try to find a way!

This also shows she is more than just a singer. In my opinion, art is not just something pretty, but something that makes you think and question!

And that is exactly what this does! Makes you think what would you do?!

Please link the video for me in the comments or just leave a comment with your thought on it!

Have a great one! =)

OOTD Flower T-shirt

A quick OOTD for a subtle going out look.

All you need is a pair of skinny jeans which I paired with beautiful dark green heels and a feminine flower, see through T-shirt.

And now when I think about it, it’s all Primark XD except the Aldo watch.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, my phone is being fixed at the moment. Hopefully, I will have it back soon.

I believe this is a simple, yet understated outfit good for around the city or if you find yourself in a club by a chance.

What do you think?

My To Do For A New Me :)

Couple of days ago I had such an insomnia before a flight – it was so frustrating! You know the feeling – you’re trying to sleep and your brain is working 100 per hour. :S

It got me thinking about my life in Dubai or the lack of it. It is easy when you are home, you have some kind of routine, but here, there is no routine. So let’s make it ourselves!

Here is what I’ve decided. Hope it helps you or if you have some tips, I’d be glad to hear them!

1. Sleeping routine

Make a routine. No TV or phones! Maybe some relaxing music or a good book accompanied with a hot cup of tea. This will be hard for me since I’m a big movie fan.

Also, name 3 thingsΒ you areΒ grateful for that day.

2. Daily routines

A) Drink a glass of water immediately after getting up.

B) Morning workout. I am not talking about 45 min or more. Something short and sweet. There are plenty of pins on Pinterest you can find. My personal goal is to run at least 15 min or skip rope for 5. In time increase that.

3. Tasks

I always have lots of ”To Do” Lists. Some I do, most I don’t. Haha

Lists are good, but sometimes I have so many things I can’t focus. Make top 3 tasks for that day and concentrate on finishing only them that day!

4. Free Time Jar

I am keeping my ”To Do” lists. πŸ™‚ Write down ideas what you want to do in your free time – visit a park, go to movies, go ice skating, do some arts and crafts, cook… Learn something new! Put it on colourful papers and in a jar or some box. Why? It’s just prettier! x) If it looks good, you will want to do it! πŸ˜‰

I’ll try to do at least one thing from the list in 2-3 days period.

5. Go out

Sometimes on my free days I just want to relax so I stay in the house. Sure, it’s good from time to time, but if you go out you will actually have more energy.

That’s why I’ll ”force” myself to go out daily at least for a walk from one metro station to another. Go out for fresh air!

6. Stay Positive

Don’t forget to surround yourself with positive people. Hang out with your friends and smile! A simple smile really can change someone’s day! πŸ˜‰ What you give is what you get! It’s all about perspective!

Be grateful for what you have (what I’ve said before, reflect on your day before going to sleep and name 3 things you are grateful for that day).

And for the end, write it down on a piece of paper and hang it somewhere! Make it visible to remind yourself of what you need to do!

Research show it takes about 66 days to form a new habit!Β Long time, sure. It will be a hard at the beginning, but you can do it! πŸ˜‰

live long and prosper

If you have any tips and tricks you do which you think will help, please share and comment! I am more than happy to hear from you! πŸ™‚

Happy New Year

Shame on me!

I see my last post was in August. Oops! I just got so into flying and then on off days you feel so lazy and don’t feel like doing anything. It’s so bad how quickly you get that way! I really have to get a hobby.

But, first things first! Happy new years everyone! πŸ˜€

Hope your last year was good and the new one will be even better! ❀

I was at a house party watching the fireworks on Burj Khalifa and let me tell you it is spectacular! Really something pictures and videos cannot describe, you HAVE TO be there! If you ever get a chance to see it in person, please do! πŸ™‚

But, until you do get a chance to see it yourself, here are some pics on how it was!

And it starts

I would love to put some videos, but apparently I can’t :S so hope pics will give you a little idea on how it was.

Enjoy guys and promise to write more often! =)

New Adventure Called…

Hi everyone!

I’ve got some big news. There will be some changes in my life. In 17 days I will be moving to..

Dubai!!! πŸ™‚

I don’t think I even realize what I’m doing yet!
I really like my life now as it is. I’ve been very fortunate to work in a good school with really good people. Also, I have lots of interests and hobbies I’m doing right now. It will be very hard to leave all of that. Not to mention my family and friends.

But I’ve read somewhere, ”If it’s both terrifying and amazing, then you should definitely pursue it.”. So, I’m trying not to think about the scary part and I’m just jumping in!

I will be working as a cabin crew for Fly Emirates!

So, the blog will change quite a bit. I won’t have my sewing machine with me,Β I’m not sure how much time I will have for crafts and, of course, I won’t be teaching.
I will, however, be switching to writing about my life and experiences in Dubai and my travels. πŸ™‚

If you have and advice, I am happy to hear it!
Stay great! =)
