OOTD Work Attire

I had my visa interview the other day. A bit out of my league since I usually have a more laid back style, but this is what I came up with.

I went classic and then added a pop of colour with theย Primark heels. Love their colour!

I wore a white tank top which has some nice details so it’s not too boring. You can see it on the picture down. Actually, let me tell you a secret – it’s a top from a pyjamas! Shhhh! ๐Ÿ˜‰

On top of it, I wore a white Bershka blazer.

The black, slouchy pants (from Orsay)ย also have a nice detail –ย the leather around the waist. They are very comfortable and not too loose so you can still have that ladylike silhouette.

I finished it off with a Primark rope necklace which gives off a nautical feel.

I think I managed to be professional looking, but still kept the laid back feel to it. What do you think?

Feel free to comment and if you wold like to see my take on something, please let me know!

Enjoy your day guys! :*

OOTD Relaxed Basics For Day With Girls

It is getting kind of chilly in Dubai, gotta admit I’m very surprised by the weather! ย There was even rain the other day! Dubai is full of surprises! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m very happy it is not +40 and I can actually wear long sleeves and sweaters even!

Yesterday, my girls and I went for a little walk to Jumeirah and some nice Lebanese food.

My To Do For A New Me :)

Couple of days ago I had such an insomnia before a flight – it was so frustrating! You know the feeling – you’re trying to sleep and your brain is working 100 per hour. :S

It got me thinking about my life in Dubai or the lack of it. It is easy when you are home, you have some kind of routine, but here, there is no routine. So let’s make it ourselves!

Here is what I’ve decided. Hope it helps you or if you have some tips, I’d be glad to hear them!

1. Sleeping routine

Make a routine. No TV or phones! Maybe some relaxing music or a good book accompanied with a hot cup of tea. This will be hard for me since I’m a big movie fan.

Also, name 3 thingsย you areย grateful for that day.

2. Daily routines

A) Drink a glass of water immediately after getting up.

B) Morning workout. I am not talking about 45 min or more. Something short and sweet. There are plenty of pins on Pinterest you can find. My personal goal is to run at least 15 min or skip rope for 5. In time increase that.

3. Tasks

I always have lots of ”To Do” Lists. Some I do, most I don’t. Haha

Lists are good, but sometimes I have so many things I can’t focus. Make top 3 tasks for that day and concentrate on finishing only them that day!

4. Free Time Jar

I am keeping my ”To Do” lists. ๐Ÿ™‚ Write down ideas what you want to do in your free time – visit a park, go to movies, go ice skating, do some arts and crafts, cook… Learn something new! Put it on colourful papers and in a jar or some box. Why? It’s just prettier! x) If it looks good, you will want to do it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ll try to do at least one thing from the list in 2-3 days period.

5. Go out

Sometimes on my free days I just want to relax so I stay in the house. Sure, it’s good from time to time, but if you go out you will actually have more energy.

That’s why I’ll ”force” myself to go out daily at least for a walk from one metro station to another. Go out for fresh air!

6. Stay Positive

Don’t forget to surround yourself with positive people. Hang out with your friends and smile! A simple smile really can change someone’s day! ๐Ÿ˜‰ What you give is what you get! It’s all about perspective!

Be grateful for what you have (what I’ve said before, reflect on your day before going to sleep and name 3 things you are grateful for that day).

And for the end, write it down on a piece of paper and hang it somewhere! Make it visible to remind yourself of what you need to do!

Research show it takes about 66 days to form a new habit!ย Long time, sure. It will be a hard at the beginning, but you can do it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

live long and prosper

If you have any tips and tricks you do which you think will help, please share and comment! I am more than happy to hear from you! ๐Ÿ™‚

OOTD Harry Potter

I just realized today that one of my favourite Harry Potter books (of which I am a huuuge fan) ”Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire” was released 10 years ago! Can you believe it?! I feel kind of old now… :S haha

Also, when I was talking to a friend I found out he is also HP fan so we decided to have a HP marathon. Again. So much fun, I love it! ๐Ÿ˜€

That is why I’m posting a Harry Potter inspired outfit.

It’s a Primark T-shirt I instantly wanted paired with comfy H&M shorts and my lovely Startas sneakers which are absolutely perfect and I am planning on getting more of them. โค

Just wright for a coffee with friends on a lazy day! ๐Ÿ™‚

So tell me, what is your favourite HP book? =)

Happy New Year

Shame on me!

I see my last post was in August. Oops! I just got so into flying and then on off days you feel so lazy and don’t feel like doing anything. It’s so bad how quickly you get that way! I really have to get a hobby.

But, first things first! Happy new years everyone! ๐Ÿ˜€

Hope your last year was good and the new one will be even better! โค

I was at a house party watching the fireworks on Burj Khalifa and let me tell you it is spectacular! Really something pictures and videos cannot describe, you HAVE TO be there! If you ever get a chance to see it in person, please do! ๐Ÿ™‚

But, until you do get a chance to see it yourself, here are some pics on how it was!

Enjoy guys and promise to write more often! =)
